Minoru Yamasaki, the american-japanese architect of the 1973 Twin Towers, was favoured by the Saudi Arabian royal family. He designed three Saudi airports. Osama Bin Laden, Al-Qaeda's mastermind, worked as a business manager in his father's vast Saudi Arabian construction company involved in Yamasaki's contracts. Mohamed Atta, leader of the September 11th kamikaze, was a german-trained graduate in architecture and urban planning.
